Costa Rica has always been a favorite destination since my first fishing trip there, with Stu Apte, in the early 1970’s. Since then, I’ve been able to visit Costa Rica often and have fallen in love with the area surrounding Golfo Dulce. I’ve found it to hold some of the most diverse fishing on Planet Earth, wonderfully warm people and destinations such as Golfito Sailfish Rancho, where some of my most cherished memories of Costa Rica have been forged.
